A lot of things have happened; an awesome camp that I wish wasn't over, holidays and the loss of all the stuff on my computer including my internet of all things.

MY RANTSPACE:
Sooo, currently a lot of things have happened. I'm mostly on the happy side but my computer crashed recently so that makes me feel... sad to a degree.

Recently, my pen tablet broke and the day before yesterday my laptop decided that it won't turn on - not even in Safe Mode.. DX Thankfully I have a new Wacom bamboo pen tablet now!!

So I had to reinstall windows (in the process losing almost everything on my laptop) and luckily my major stuff/school work was on my memory stick... which somehow survived the wash.

One thing led to another and I don't have CS3, Corel, Flash, Microsoft office.. anything anymore. SO if you can, PLEASE PLEASE FAVE MY 'Good vs Evil' Contest Entry!!!! THEN I CAN GET CS4 AND NOT BE SO BAD OFF.

1 = I aspire to write a book. I've already proceeded in my venture, but I've put it aside for now as I have lots of homework to do. And.. this is my last year of high school so I've averted my focus for now.

2 = I'm a South African. (Not that you'd be able to tell if you met me. I look and sound like a New Zealander. )

3 = I have an affinity with the colour red even though my favourite colour is purple. For example, I have red carpet, a red school bag, a really nice shiny-red coat and also a _fake red leather jacket. There's other things but.. I don't want to bore you.

4 = I'm lazy. I can do things well, do all my homework and do them in a short amount of time - I just choose to watch anime and manga and laze about - until this year that is. If you ask other people I know, you'll see that I can be, somewhat, motivated when I need to be.

5 = I'm planning on studying art and becoming an art teacher next year. (And no it won't ALL happen next year. )

6 = I'm an introvert. Not a complete introvert but I like my alone time... it recharges me.
After that I can talk non-stop about any random topic - as per usual. :3

7 = I dressed up as a MIB (Men in Black) agent for church today. I really don't wanna change. I look schnazzy. I just wish my shoutboard was as schnazzy...

8 = I like playing/singing music. I like singing the most. I'm not the best but I can sing better than I can play the piano or the guitar. I also know a bit on the drums but not a lot. I'm listening to a lot of Barlowgirl lately.

I really like the emote for the mood jolly at the bottom of my journal. I'm gonna quickly put on my Santa hat to match it.

So yeah.. I realised I went a bit wild on my profile. So I de-iconified it a little.
But at the moment that's not the point of this journal.

Merry Christmas everyone!!!

This Christmas was my best one yet! it's true that giving is better than recieving. That's because this Christmas was different from all the rest. Because everyone had been getting expensive -but much-needed stuff- throughout the year.. we really couldn't afford extravagantly expensive gifts soo everyone in my family had a budget of $10 per person and we went to the mall and split up in pairs to shop for everyone else.

Now you're probably thinking '$10!!! eek!' But we were allowed to pool money between us so that if we found something we liked for someone we could share money and get it for them.

In the end it was really amazing to see how well we all knew each other. I had no clue what I wanted for myself -especially around the $10 mark.. but I ended up getting some awesome stuff.

I just came back from camp.. so if you've been wondering where I've been the last few days.. that's where I've been. We were camping in a reserve next to a beach.

I hate long drops and no showers but it was fun.

Manga -Obviously this would be on my list.
Milo -My family doesn't buy it anymore but I still love it!
Magazine puzzles/crosswords -The only thing I read or do with magazines. Gossip and celebrity fashion don't interest me..
Merry-go-Rounds -Stupid safety problems means there aren't very many around.. I'm an overgrown kid, I admit it.
Music -I really wanted to put down playing the piano and the guitar but it didn't start with M.. This covers it.
Magic tricks -There's one I really want to do.. I also like watching those clips of asian magicians on youtube.
Mallowpuffs -Haven't had one of those biscuits in ages. mmmmmmm...
My Mates -I had to get my friends in here somehow.
My Mother -As most people's parents usually are.. you don't like them when you don't get your way -but usually I really like my Mom. She's so huggable. Her jokes are dry aaaas.. but other people tell me she's hilarious. I really don't get it.

Short journal I know..

I could stare at this for hours.

Well... anyway. (prying my eyes away from my profile..) There was this stray dog with no collar that came and sat outside our door for ages. He eventually started following me around everywhere when I went out to pet him.

So I kinda had a pet dog for a couple of hours. Before it started barking an running around a lot in a hyper fashion. It was more of a puppy then a dog. It ran away after I got freaked out and ran away.
It was fun before that though. It was sooo cute. And it listened to me.
